Scenario #1:
A person PM's you on the forum, in-game message or e-mail and asks you for your in-game details (user name and password).
This user says that he/she is a GameOperator [GO] / Super GameOperator [SGO] /Game Admin [GA] Community Manager [CoMa] or any other member of the Battle Knight Staff, or Gameforge employee.
Do you give your account details? NO!!!
Reason:
- A Battle Knight staff member will NEVER ask for your account details (user name and password)
- Click on the Members > Team to see the list page of current Battle Knight Team members.
- The only contact with your community team should be made via the support ticket system.
Scenario #2:
A person PM's you and tells you that there is a Ruby / silver generator available and that you should visit a certain website to download it and provides you with a link. Sometimes it's with a reason 'Its legitaimate, safe to use, has No virus etc'.These so called generators are published on sites such as youtube etc Do Not Believe such videos.
Should you download it? NO!!!
Reason:
- The so called Ruby/Silver Generator more than likely fake.
- The program could be a disguised Virus, Worm, Trojan .e.t.c.
Action you should take:
- Don't Download it
- If you recieved the message via ingame message please (report) the message.
- If you have received the message from either an Email or Private Message please submit a ticket via the support system.
Scenario #3:
Someone PM's, emails you or advertises to you via ingame message or on their Profile Description that they will add Rubies to
your account. 'You really need to use Rubies to help you become a better Knight,
you want to have the rubies on your character but you cannot buy them yourself for whatever reason'.
Should I contact this person about it? NO!!!
Reason:
If you want Rubies, you can:
- Buy the Rubies ingame
- Participate in official community competitions.
If you give these scammers your account details to supposedly add Rubies to your account. They will log in your account and steal all your items and most likely delete your account.
Bottom line is to NEVER give your account details to anyone and especially when they are advertising of that will add rubies to your account.
Scenario #4:
You get a forum PM from someone you do not know with a link to, supposedly meant to to be helpful
Do you click on the link immediately? NO!!!
Reason:
There are those that try to install a keylogging software on your computer. When you click those links, it will try to install a software
on your PC that will record your keystrokes and thus will hack your account.
Action: Corel videostudio pro x7 64 bit full crack.
- DO NOT click on the link! Immediately forward the PM to BA. In case you have
clicked on it, perform a virus scan on your computer with an updated anti-virus software.
